Easy come, easy go.

Yesterday we spent the day on a bus trip to the casino.  I didn't lost too much, but then I didn't win either.  By the way, where did that "easy come, easy go" statement come from I wonder.  I understand the easy go part but not the easy come part.

I am ticked.  I started this post once and Internet Explorer stopped working and shut down my post to 'protect my computer' from this site.  What's up with that.  I had my post almost done and of course it wiped it out.  Grrrrrr!  Having my fingers crossed I get this done.

Beth shares the nice changes in the tree by her place and it opened my eyes to look at nature better.  Thank you Beth.  I thought maybe you would like a look at this tree I have seen every year and paid no attention to it.  It's right across the street from where we get gas and the other day I took a good look.  It is so full and almost perfect.  Well it was suppose to be below this paragraph but I'm not messing with it to make things  be in order.  Not the way the site is acting today.

Storms expected again today and possibly severe they say.  I'll tell you a thunder boom last night woke everyone from here through Madison and around.  Shook the house.  Really hope the upcoming storm doesn't hold up to expectations.

Have a beautiful Sunday.

Hugs to you all.

  1. Well you did manage to get your post finished despite IE's vagaries Terry, isn't it a pain in the butt when you lose a carefully crafted piece of work and the PC crashes. I try and remember to save as I go, but not always clever enough. That is some tree you have there, such a wide spread, it'll be interesting to see it through the season, Beth prompted me to do one too, but it's the road outside my place in my last post.
I wonder if you had the predicted storms. If so, hope they weren't too severe. .

  3. We're supposedly going to get hit with storms this afternoon and tonight. Not fun. Your post turned out well so maybe those little men running around inside the computer thought you had already paid your dues with your previous problems.

  4. lol....you're funny! I know exactly what you mean, though, about losing your post just when you are almost finished....so FRUSTRATING!!! I don't know what causes that...usually I hit the wrong button. lol

That is really a beautiful, full tree! I pray the tornados and floods just skip right over the entire United States this year. We've all had enough tragedy and bad weather to last us a good long time.

  5. I stopped using IE after it kept slowing down and giving me trouble. I'm not really sure why that happens...who can say? I love that tree you have there...Beth's tree always seems solid as a rock in spite of the seasonal changes...wish my moods were...we actually had some snow yesterday...hard not to feel a little crazy with that...then again...no tornadoes.
