Thursday already?

My how the time flies.  I can't believe I haven't been here since Monday.  As nothing earth shattering has been going on, or even boring stuff, I guess I just didn't think about posting.

Have found some pictures of my grandson for his graduation board display, or what was comically called by a friend "the humilation board".  The think is Aaron is such a laid back cool kid that things like that don't bother him at all.  He's totally fine with himself and that's the way it should be.

Do you ever get flustered when you've bought something and you see it later being practically given away.  You saw our tailgate party with the awnings.  Ours has lights etc. and Jack bought it at Gander Mountain last fall.  Well we were at Shopko today, wondering around waiting for a perscription, and they had them for $87 down from $219 that he paid.  Same brand and everything.  Grrrr! It almost makes you want to scream and stamp your feet right there.

Help!  I know it's Spring Cleaning time but I can't find where my 'get up and go' went.  I know it has to be around here somewhere, but it sure is good at hiding.

  1. I can't help you as my get up and go left me long ago.

You might want to buy a spare awning and put it back just in case. ;-)

  2. That is so frustrating when you find something you bought much cheaper a month or two later. I always wonder if I was ripped off.

  3. Hi Terry, if I didn't log into you I wouldn't know you'd posted, but I've clicked the 'subscribe by email' button again. I know the horrible feeling of finding somethig a lot cheaper than what you paid, my biogger problem is impulse buying and then realizing the darn thing isn;t what I need, I've done it lately with two cook books, they are so professional I'm just not interested, too many herbs and stuff. money wasted.
It's not a bad trait to be laid back, too many youngsters take themselves and life a bit too seriously these days. sounds a nice kid.

  4. I think you are not alone in letting time fly some. I get little from Face Book but forwards and only a few updates to the blogs I follow a week. If there's a big exciting world out there I must be missing it...LOL! The dreary days of April have arrived here making me wish for sure for the warmer days to come. The up and down shift has been so noticeable lately that it gets on my nerves...doesn't seem to change anything though!

  6. I bought my flat screen television over 4 years ago for $800. I saw the same set two days ago for under $400.
