Fun Day ahead.

Today is going to be such fun.  Cindy (Up North Cindy), Sherry, Cousins Mary and Ursula and myself will be getting together for lunch.  We do this once a year and have such a laughing fun time.  Hopefully the storm they say is coming will be on schedule and not start until early evening.  We had to postpone last week because of the weather so really looking forward to today.

I have been slowly cleaning out the junk piled around and in this computer room.  What junk we keep or just move out of the way and don't take care of it right away.  Really causes a big mess.  You would think I'm a hoarder, lol.

Oreo is 6 mos. old now and we will soon be making the appointment to have him spayed.  He won't care for that, I'm sure, but don't believe in overpopulating the animal world even by accident.  Not to mention how many end up in shelters looking for homes.  Plus, there is the half price off the dog license for fixed dogs.

Well I had better get something constructive done around her before time to leave.  You all have a good day and stay safe.

  2. How nice for you all that you meet for lunch! That must be fun. Our junk usually lands in the garage or out in the shed and we eventually get it out for the big trash truck to pick up. Sometimes, I think I'm a mini hoarder...I still have things from high school...that's been 40 years ago. lol I really need to toss that junk.

Poor little Oreo....give him some extra hugs and kisses from me. Tell him that someday he'll look back on this and laugh....or maybe not.

  3. I bet that will be a fun day with everyone trying to talk at once, just like women all over the world on these occasions, Oh how I wish I could be there.
I don't know where the junk all comes from either, there's only me, but every so often I find I have to make a trip to the charity shops or the council dump to get rid of 'stuff'
I'm sure Oreo will be Ok and I know you know you're doing the right thing, as you say there are far too many poor dogs ending up in shelters. Give him an extra hug from me and a kiss from Ruby, she knows she's safe. LOL

  5. So happy you were able to get away for lunch> I need to do that one of these days. Been stuck at home way too much this winter because the snow just keeps coming and I won't go out if it's slippery. Your dog will be fine after neutering and he'll actually be a better pet in the end. It will be harder on you to put him through it than it will be on him.
