Frustration over (Ihope)

I know I have been gone a few days, but this time it wasn't my faault.  No laziness.  It was computer problems and Charter.  My tower went on the fritz and and had to have it fixed.  No problem there except for the wait.  She had to clear it and reinstall so have bee without it since las Thursday.  Well got it back yesterday and when I tried to put the internet back on it, I couldn't find the passcode.  So I called Charter to get it.  She came back on and tried to tell me we didn't have internet.  Well I exploded as I've been paying for it, and the iPad, Jack's laptop etc. were all working right up till she checked.  Finally she said they would send a technication.  Today he was here, checked the account and found it and set us back up.  He made sure my iPad and everything was working fine.  The trouble is, I was told I had to get my own set up and went and spent money buying it.  He chacked it and of course, it was not usable.  Now I have to make another trip to return it.  Sometimes all this technology is for the birds.

  1. Modern technology is great but it brings up more problems than it solves sometimes. Just look at the amount of distracted people walkng around transfixed by a little screen. Walking into traffic. Yapping on the phone while driving. I used to pay my bills online until my desktop spit the bit. Still I do love my computer.

  2. I so agree with you!! I left Comcast because their customer service was so bad. I hope everything is working for you know!

Oh dear Terry, problems, problems, it's one thing that's no respector of rich, poor, male, female or whatever, I dread losing my stuff, I bought an external drive to put my precious photos on, but I keep forgetting to top it up. ANyhow, I hope you'll soon be all properly fixed and happily tapping the keyboards again, Thanks for your visit.

  4. Problems with all providers I guess.. it never ends..I sure hope you have seen the last of it and things settle down now. Sorry you had trouble I know how hard it is to be without service for even one day. Take care :-)
