Look who found her way back!

Yup, it's me.  I finally got my act together and hopefully now I can keep it together.  This weather has kept me pretty much quaranteed.  You would think that would give me the time I need for here, but alas, no.  Even though I've only gone out a very few times, I have spent most of the rest huddled under a blanket or such.  Took Oreo out on one of the iciest days and wouldn't you know it, down I went. Hit my head (the hardest thing to hurt, lol) on the car.  My 'wonderful sister Sherry" asked if the car was okay.  Funny isn't she.  Worse thing is there is not a real valid excuse for such neglect, as I have both a laptop and an iPad.  (Head bowed in shame here.)

Has been a little hectic though with family and doctors etc.  Had a friend have a heart attack at Christmas, followed by surgery for a colon problem found while checking her health for heart surgery. Every thing there is benign, thank the Lord..  Now she has surgery for her heart Fri.  Just a couple days ago my last living uncle was taken in for a heart problem and will be getting a stent, and now 2 of his sons have been taken in for chest pains and serious flu trouble.  It seems like everything hits a once.

I say this morning where Carol Dee was going to the er and am hoping an praying all is okay.

Everyone keep warm and safe out there.  We all wait patiently (or not) for the warmer weather.

  1. Girl, I am horrified that you hit your head on the car! (WAS the car OK???) Seriously though, did you have a cut of a terrible bruise or both? Bless your heart!

We had abut 4 inches of snow last evening but here, it is always icy without fail so here on the hilly street where I live, there was little traffic and those who tried slid right on back down (after tying to take out my fence by sliding).

xxoox Have you heard anything about Carole Dee? I saw that too yesterday.

  3. This weather really has been icky. It's mild one day and then freezin' the next and meltin' snow that freezes again can mean only one thing... ICE. Best to stay warm and cozy inside, if you can.

  5. Oh dear friend, I'm so sorry about your fall. That could have been even worse than it was. Thank God you are okay. Yes, when it rains, it pours bad new it seems. I hope you are on the right track now and no more falls! Thanks so much for your comment on Mario's blog. Oreo is such a cutie and I can just see her pulling the covers over herself. he he - so cute.

  6. Staying in seems to be the safest thing huh? Sorry you fell and hit your noggin. Yes it does seem like things happen all at once. I hate that. I hope Carol Dee is ok.

  7. I fully understand being absent from here for I too have been gone for about 2 weeks save for one post. I hope Carol's health improves.
Many of us have had similar weather. A couple of weeks ago we went from 0 one day to 60 degrees on the next, Not really unusual for New England weather.
