We all have them. Hopefully most are very small ones. But I thought I'd tell you about a little one for me. Remember a few weeks ago when I had a wedding to go to. Well in deciding what to wear I decided on a dress in my closet that I had not worn in so long even my sister Sherry didn't recognize it. Well I went through the wedding and half the night at the reception when someone noticed the sleeve had begun to come apart. Well, as there was nothing I could do I just bit the bullet and enjoyed the party. Just a slight blush and on to the fun. Funny part is, when I went to sew up the seam connection and thought I was done I found BOTH sleeves were coming apart from the dress. No, the dress wasn't too tight, so don't go there, lol.
Not much going to go on here for a few days. Too hot to venture out much. Still, to me it's better than ice and snow. Especially ice. Still have flashbacks of breaking an ankle on the ice one time. No, I'll just cool off in the A/C and be glad it's not a blizzard out there.

I have had some really embarrassing moments in my lifetime which I prefer not to remember. LOL
ReplyDeleteI do agree with you. With ice and snow it is not safe to go outside. during the extreme heat I go out in the early morning.
Such things do come to us all but when we are able to come away and laugh about it I think it makes us a stronger person. My mom broke her ankle last winter so I can sure sympathize with you there. I don't think I'll be griping about the heat here anytime soon either.
