A start

Finally changed the background.  Now to find the picture I want for the blog and I'll be all set.

You know those annoying calls we get, even when on the 'Do Not Call" lists.  Well I check the caller ID for the numbers.  Got quite a surprise the other day.  The ID actually said "Phone Scam".  I have never seen that before.  I mentioned it to my son and he said somebody at his work was telling them the same thing.  He wasn't sure he believed it then.  Now he does.  Even if it doesn't come up that way I never answer a number I don't know.  My only problem is, sometimes it says "no data" and I worry about it being Jack's mom.  I guess I shouldn't because she always leaves a message if there's no answer.

Picked up a few more presents yesterday.  One was for an Angel Tree at the Moose.  I'm sure you have them in your area.  Trees with little angels on them for a boy or girl and the age.  Then the Salvation Army takes and distributes them.  Still have to get one for a little girl, but thought I would take one of the granddaughters with me to pick something out.  They would be a better judge than me.  The angel I have is for a 10 yr. old.  Carson should be able to help me with that.

No snow here yet.  Getting it north of here.  It can stay away for awhile as far as I'm concerned.  But then Mother Nature never has paid attention to what I want, lol.

Well, off to see if I can find the right picture.

  1. Girl friend, I would have HAD to answer that phone scam ID call. I wouldn't have been able to resist. I have never seen anything like that. In a way, what fun.

I had to search for a picture too but decided to give it up for awhile. ;-)

I have bought for an Angel tree many times. None visible yet around here.

Hope it's a good day for you in the family. I always said and still do that you and your sisters are just like home to me. <3

  2. I agree with Twin. I would have answered it too to see what was going on.

Your background looks beautiful. Go to google and search Christmas images. They have so many beautiful ones.

  3. Pretty background. No angel tree round here that I know of an I don't know much. Rain coming here. Better than ice an snow. I agree with Carole, your family is like home to me too.

  4. I think I would be tempted to answer that call too lol. The background is pretty but yeah, you really need to find another pic. I changed mine too. As much as I hate the thought of winter I figured it might help get ready.

  5. I like the new look of your blog. Very pretty. I haven't attempted changing anything like the background yet - unless it's one of their built-in backgrounds. Good job.

  6. We have gotten a lot of weird calls lately from other little towns here in Montana...I don't get it...what does it take for these people to get the hint? Christmas shopping her has been slow but mostly that's because of limit on available funds this year...ah well. We have had snow but now it's clear...it may not stay that way but I cherish the times it does...I'm not a snow & cold lover at all.
