Thank you Arlene for the wonderful award. I so love reading your posts.
Lovely blog award
Not much to tell today. We're are making a little progress as Oreo only had one accident in the last 16 hours. Or maybe there is another reason, as I say here;
I have a little doggie that goes in and out with me,
Because we're trying to teach doggie, where he has to pee.
The trouble as I see it, and I'm sure you will agree,
I'm not to sure who's training who, I think he's training me.

For the first time I can remember the state has published "report cards' on the state expectations of the schools. You can go online and look them all up. I'm glad to say the schools I worked at, and my kids attended rated high marks. One of the editors in the local paper has always tried to promote consolidation of the township and the city in to one city. We have always fought it and the schools are one of the main reasons why. Smaller and a large parent/school working together attitude. I hope it never changes. Because of all of this we get quite a number of open-enrollment students from other schools.
You all have a nice evening.
Congrats on your award. Arlene is a lovely person! And congrats on oreo's training you. :-)
ReplyDeleteHurrah for Oreo! Cute poem! and Congratulations to your school district!
ReplyDeleteHi girlfriend! Oreo is well into his program of training up the entire family. xo
ReplyDeletewasn't Giles and also Apolo fabulous last night? Kirsty...meh.
ReplyDeleteGood for you on the award! I sure understand you about the school situation. So, will you know when you're well trained? LOL! Hearing you talk about that sure brings back memories of dogs past!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt about it. Oreo's got you right where he wants you. All of you lol. I was looking at those school reports and was happy to see it too. It's a good feeling knowing that our grandchildren are in one of the best in the state huh?
ReplyDeleteHi Terry, good luck on the potty training. Butchy was the first dog that I ever had as a puppy, and potty training was driving me crazy. It takes a lot of time . . . Every-time I thought he had it down, he surprised me again. It took me about three or four months, but now I have the sweetest little companion and we are such good buddies. My days would be pretty lonely without him around . . .
ReplyDeletehe is great company :)
Thanks for the sweet comment you left on my kitchen sign post.
You're a sweetie pie.
Your blogging sister, Connie
Hi Terry, I'm sure you'll find little Oreo will soon get the hang of peeing and pooing in the right place at the right time. When I first got Ruby, she had obviously not been trained too well as I had three little accidents indoors, just wet ones, so I had to teach her where she should 'get busy' as I say, that was only two years ago, now she's OK and she's ten.
ReplyDeleteI can't make any comment on the school, as your system is so much different from ours. Arlene X
Congratulations... on a well deserved award. One of most likely many to come. Enjoy it... be proud of it, you have certainly earned it.
ReplyDeleteI know what you are going through and I understand the frustration. I had a two year old that did the same thing... yours has four legs, mine had two!
