Times a-wasten...

I think that's what I've been doing.  Haven't done anything of great accomplishment these few days.  A little running here and there.  All the normal stuff of daily living.  Trying to keep the tv off so I don't have to listen to all those disgusting political commercials.  And that's all I'm going to say about that.

DWTS is really good this year.  So awesome last night I could not decide who did the best job.  Some may not agree, but Bristol still really needs to go.  She doesn't seem to even be trying her best.  Kristy is doing better but it is going to hurt no matter who goes after these two, and I hope they are the two tonight.  I loved the concept of the stars controlling the dances this week.  It will be interesting to see what they choose for each others groups for next week.

Have 3 little flowers on the yellow rose bush that just won't quit.  Two have bloomed nicely and one bud is getting ready to.  Will have to put up the pictures as soon as the camera charges and I get them uploaded.

Carson is doing a countdown till Fri.  She keeps telling everyone "she" is getting a puppy and it will be her best friend and she his.

I finally got the granddaughters to clean and toss the corner where they kept the toys they used to play with.  It looked real good for about 15 minutes.  Then hubby started filling it with junk he should be tossing.  Magazines he's going to take to the shop where he used to work (sometime in this century), baseball caps he wears, etc.  Sometimes I want to scream. Something about men and an empty space.  GRRRRR!

Wow, just found out my last uncle is in the hospital.  He collasped at the snack shop and fell so a trip to the ER.  His BP was 60/0.  I just shudder at that.   He's diabetic but had that under control with meds.  They have him on a temp pacemaker while they do all the testing and checking.  Sherry told his daughter about when Bill was having those problems and what they did so the family can ask about that too.  He is the rock of this family.  Always there when any one needed him.  Was with us when each of our parents passed and went with us to make arragements and everything. He lost his wife a couple years ago and has a handicapped daughter that he takes care of.  He sure is loved and much needed.
Loads of prayers for you uncle Joe.

  1. I am so sorry about your Uncle Joe. I hope and truly pray that he will recover. How frghtening for the family and for him.

Bristol and Kirstie should have gone the first week. How they either one can scrape uo the fams to keep them there is beyond me. And that childish display Bristl treated her pro to..man, am I ever glad I don't have to be around that spoiled brat!

I am afraid Giles will be one of the two to go. It sure won't be Bristol or Kirstie.

    1. Growing up my Mom tossed everything, and my Dad was a collector. I find that I am a little bit of both, but these days I try to toss more then I collect. None the less, I think that men an women are equal when it come to who may be a bigger rat pack.

Men tend to pack so-called "useful" things. e.g. Books (that he never reads), electronics (that no longer works, furniture (that don't fit and never will), car stuff (even after the car is sold), computer parts (that are no longer working), sports memorabilia...etc.

Women tend to pack more "worthless" stuff. e.g. Clothes (that might fit them after they lose 20 pounds one day), shoes (that are 2 size too small, but it's Prada!), cosmetics (that give them a rash but they pay too much to waste it, stuff toys (from friends and pass boyfriends), food/seasonings (that we might eat some day), and everything "that they might need in the future"... These items are also more bulky-looking. It is therefore women's clutter that appears to be more useless in a glance. But is it?

Bwahahahaha! Have I said too much? :)

  10. Hi Terry, I can't understand why I don't get emails to say you've posted, I have subscribed, but I have to find your name and click to get you, so sorry I don't mean to neglect you, However, I had to think what DWTS was, at first I thought it was something to do with the politics you were talking about, till I realised, LOL it's the sister to our Strictly Come Dancing. I enjoy it, though I missed the start of the season last week as I was out.
I hope that this finds your Uncle Joe in better shape and do forgive me if he isn't.
Gotta take the dogs out now. BTW I've subscribed again.
