Wondering

Why is it that you never thing of what you should have said until hours after you should have said it?  You know hubby went hunting with his buddy last week.  Well when they got home the decided we would all meet for breakfast.  We no sooner got seated when the wife asked "guys were gone all week, why didn't your call me?"   Now dumb me, instead of saying the phones lines run both ways, said I just enjoyed the alone time.  Why do people try to put all communication on someone else.  It's not like the woman is shy.  In fact she's very outgoing and verbal.  Sheesh!

Why is it so hard for some people to buy clothes?  Are there more of their sized than anything else?  Due do long arms, (he calls them his monkey arms, lol) my husband wears a large tall.  The arms are longer and he also likes the extra length of the shirt itself.  Today we went to get some levi's for him, a new coat for me and a couple shirts for him.  Not 1 shirt in his size in the whole store.  Tons and tons of 1x, 2x, 3x & 4x in the flannel that he likes.   REALLY?  Expecially since this was the store that he always found them in.

"Every dog shoud have a man of his own. There is nothing like a well-behaed person around the house to spread the dog's blanket fo him, or bring him his supper when he comes home man-tired at night."  Corey Ford.

I think it works for Cats too, don't you Carole?

  2. Ah communication, yes it can be sticky thing at times can't it? I wish I could say I've got a spotless record on such things but I don't. I guess the best part of loving someone and being loved in return is that you can overlook such things and move on. I sometimes miss having pets yet at other times I don't. It's not always an easy thing by any stretch of the imagination and with my lifestyle and budget right now I don't see it being a thing I can do. I hope you're having a good day my friend...I'm sitting here at the garage waiting on my car to be diagnosed for a light that keeps coming on...wish I was doing something more fun.

  3. My son in law wears 1X Tall and it is a chore to find something in that size. Bergners never has them. Once in awhile I can find something at Kohls. My sil is 6 ft 6 1'2 tall.

  4. I swear the entire world wears my size because I can never find anything either. I mentioned it to a store buyer one time and was told that the most popular size for women is 10 and 12 - so they order tons of that size and maybe one or two of the other sizes. I suspect the same is true in the men's department.

  6. Oh how I would love to be a perfect size 12, but although I wear a size 12, being smaller than average, it doesn't fit quite right, so therefore not perfect. 8^£/)**
I admit to being usually the first to phone or contact, maybe it's because i'm on my own, I sometimes just want the communication, but I won't let it go more than twice, I'm waiting phone calls from two friends, i'll probably end up doing the calling.
Thanks for calling thisnthat and for comments.
